Presyvo Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Presyvo ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Presyvo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using Presyvo, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
Presyvo is a mobile attendance-tracking application that allows organizations to manage employee clock-in and clock-out records, verified by location. Presyvo is operated by Lopterra Services Limited, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at info@presyvo.com.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: full name, email address, and/or phone number, when you sign up or are invited to join an organization on Presyvo.
- Organization information: business name, country, and billing details, provided by the person creating an organization account.
- Payment information: when you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider, Paystack. Presyvo does not store your full card details — Paystack handles this directly. See Section 6.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Location data: Presyvo uses your device's location, with your permission, at the moment you clock in or out, to verify you are within your employer's configured work site (geofencing). We do not track or store your location continuously or in the background — location is only accessed when you actively use the clock-in/clock-out feature.
- Attendance records: timestamps of clock-in and clock-out events, associated work site, and any corrections made by an authorized manager or administrator (including who made the correction and why).
- Device information: basic technical information such as device type and app version, used for troubleshooting and security.
- Usage data: how you interact with the app, used to improve the Service.
2.3 Information from your employer/organization
If you were added to Presyvo by an employer or organization administrator, they may have provided your name, contact details, work site assignment, and reporting structure on your behalf.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the attendance-tracking service, including verifying clock-in/out location against your organization's configured work sites
- Allow your organization's managers and administrators to view attendance records within the scope of their role (see Section 4)
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or (with your separate consent) product news, webinars, and blog content
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Who Can See Your Information
Presyvo is designed so that visibility into attendance data is limited by role within your organization:
- Employees can see only their own attendance history.
- Managers can see attendance data for members of their assigned team.
- Admins and the organization's Super Admin can see organization-wide attendance data and manage members, billing, and settings.
- Presyvo staff (platform administrators) can see aggregate, anonymized usage statistics (such as total organizations, member counts, and revenue) for business operations. Presyvo staff cannot view individual attendance records, employee names, or organization-level data without a legitimate operational reason, such as responding to a support request.
5. Location Data Specifically
Because Presyvo's core function depends on location verification, we want to be especially clear about this:
- Location is only accessed when you tap to clock in or clock out — not in the background, and not continuously.
- Location is used solely to confirm whether you are within your assigned work site's geofenced radius at that moment.
- Your exact coordinates at each clock-in/out event are stored as part of your attendance record, visible to your organization's managers/admins per the roles described in Section 4.
- You can decline to grant location permission, but doing so will prevent you from using the clock-in/clock-out feature, since location verification is core to how the Service works.
6. Payment Information
Presyvo uses Paystack to process subscription payments. When you upgrade your plan, you are directed to Paystack's secure payment page. Presyvo does not receive or store your full card number, expiry date, or CVV — this is handled entirely by Paystack in accordance with their own privacy policy and security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).
Presyvo receives confirmation of successful or failed payments and your subscription status, but not your raw card details.
7. Data Retention
- Attendance records are retained for as long as your organization's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- If an organization closes its account, its data (including attendance records) is retained for 1 year before permanent deletion, to allow for account recovery, legitimate data requests, and compliance with tax and labor-law recordkeeping obligations. Where local law in an organization's jurisdiction requires a longer retention period for employment records, that longer period applies instead.
- If your organization downgrades to a lower plan, your historical attendance data is not deleted, even if it exceeds your new plan's limits.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under applicable data protection law — including the EU/UK GDPR, Nigeria's NDPR, South Africa's POPIA, or, if you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to our legitimate business and legal retention needs
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time (see Section 9)
To exercise these rights, contact info@presyvo.com. If you are an employee added to Presyvo by your employer, some requests (such as deleting attendance records) may need to be directed to your employer's organization administrator, since they control that data.
9. Marketing Communications
If you choose to subscribe to product updates, webinar invitations, or blog content via our website, we will only send these communications if you have given explicit, opt-in consent by checking the relevant box at signup. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting info@presyvo.com.
Marketing communications are handled through our email service provider, Brevo, in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.
10. Data Storage and International Transfers
Presyvo's infrastructure is hosted via Cloudflare. Depending on your location and your organization's configuration, your data may be processed or stored in countries other than your own. Where this involves transferring data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, role-based access controls, and regular security review of our systems. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children's Privacy
Presyvo is intended for use by working adults in an employment context and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
