Getting started

Setting up your organization

After you sign up, you'll land in the setup flow that gets your organization ready to use. This takes most people under ten minutes.

  1. Confirm your organization name and country. This sets your default billing currency.
  2. Choose your plan. You can start on Free and upgrade later without losing any data.
  3. Set your first Admin. This is usually you, but it can be handed to whoever runs day-to-day operations.

Once that's done, you'll be dropped into the dashboard, ready to add sites and invite staff.

Getting started

Adding your first sites

A site is any location where you need staff to clock in, a shop, a depot, a client's office, a construction site. Each one gets its own geofence.

  1. From the dashboard, go to Sites and select Add Site.
  2. Search for the address or drop a pin directly on the map.
  3. Set the radius. A small office might need 50 to 100 metres, while a large warehouse or farm might need several hundred.

You can add as many sites as your plan allows, and adjust the radius on any site at any time if clock-ins are being flagged too often or not often enough.

Getting started

Inviting your team

Staff can be invited two ways: by email, or by phone number and a PIN they set on first login. Use whichever fits your team better; you can mix both within the same organization.

Each person you invite is assigned to a role (Employee, Manager, Admin, or Super Admin) and, if relevant, to a specific site. They'll get access to exactly what that role allows from the moment they accept.

Understanding permission tiers

Presyvo has four tiers, and everyone is fundamentally an Employee first:

  • Employee — sees and manages their own attendance record only.
  • Manager — sees their assigned team or site, and can review flagged clock-ins for that team.
  • Admin — sees the whole organization: every site, every team, every report.
  • Super Admin — has Admin access plus control over billing and organization settings.

You can assign more than one Manager or Admin, which is common for organizations running multiple sites or shifts.

Reviewing flagged clock-ins

A clock-in gets flagged when it falls outside the site's geofence, or when the device's clock doesn't match the server time (a common sign of an offline sync or a manipulated device clock).

Flagged entries aren't rejected automatically. They sit in a review queue where a Manager or Admin can approve or dispute them, with a note logged either way for the record.

Running attendance reports

From the dashboard, Reports lets you filter by site, team, and date range, then export the result as a CSV ready for payroll. Late arrivals and overtime are already flagged in the export, so there's no manual cross-checking needed.

Troubleshooting

Clock-in isn't working

Most clock-in issues come down to one of three things:

  • Location permission isn't granted to the app. Check the phone's settings and make sure Presyvo has location access set to "while using the app" at minimum.
  • The device is outside the site's geofence radius. Ask a Manager to check the current radius on that site; it may need widening.
  • The device has no signal. The app will still record the clock-in locally and sync once it reconnects, so nothing is lost, but the entry won't appear on the dashboard until then.
